We have put our past job search experiences together and found that in the vast majority of job hunts, the recruiters we used were lacking.  Most of the time they fell drastically short in their basic understanding of the jobs they were promoting to us.  They were just trying to make a buck, and didn't care how well we were suited for the company or the situation in question.  That alone doesn't make them bad people, but to us it makes better sense to use a recruiter that knows what they are talking about when describing a opportunity or candidate.  There are a few other recruiting firms out there that recruit exclusively for the packaging industry, but can they claim that all of their employees have box experience?  Probably not and in the end what you end up with is the same inexperienced recruiter, that recruits just for box companys, who has managed to learn a few terms along the way.
